Daddy Long Legs Stilts are handmade & assembled in Tucson Arizona.
Daddy Long Legs products are top quality.
* We use virgin 6061 T6 Aluminum
* All welding is done by a certified welder. Rob Bauer @ Absolute Custom
* Our parts are machined on a Digital Controlled Lathe for absolute perfect fit.
* Our parts are spec to machine fit at 2/1000” – 5/1000” depending on the application.
Our Design
Although quite simple & minimal (DLL Stilts are a take on traditional Moko Jumbie) A lot of time, effort & prototyping went into designing a product that can:
1. Withstand the thousands of tiny stresses that stilt walking produces on the stilts themselves.
2. Is light enough for acrobatic use where weight can be prohibitive to learning the movement vocabulary
3. Made to be DIY adjustable & maintainable with common tools.
Our collars are machined out 2/1000′s of an inch to accommodate the tube outside diameter without damage or strain to either piece under use.
