Daddy Long Legs Aluminum Acrobatic Stilts
The Daddy Long Legs Aluminum Acrobatic Stilts are designed in conjunction with stilt dancers who practice the David Clarkston/Stalker Theatre form of Acrobatic Stilt Dancing. They are also well suited for non-acrobatic character work and their low profile makes them a perfect travel stilt and easy to costume. The Daddy Long Legs Aluminum Stilt is rated for high impact professional use-as well as inspired beginners — and will last many years, if not a lifetime.
The Stilts are made in 2 different ratings: Featherweight for the performer who is 160 or lighter & Dutyweight for those 160lbs. or heavier. Tall Kits, are for the most part, rated at Dutyweight-but performers who wish to have extended Featherweight models should be 140 lbs. or lighter. Your Daddy Long Leg Stilts come with a matte polish with a wax finish or can be mirror polished or anodized-Check out our anodizing colors.
Leg attachments are shown in the shin position or front of leg. (Some stilt walkers use a calf position or rear of leg) When filling out your leg measurement form, please specify if you want a calf plate otherwise they will come as shown. When we trim each pair of stilts to order we generally leave about 1 inch in order to change position of the shin/calf plate (see instructional for more details of how fitting your stilt works)

Made with the thinnest & lightest possible aluminum. Extended Featherweight models should be 140 lbs. or lighter.

DLL Aluminum dutyweight Ultimate Travel Kit (2-2.5 ft) $650
This set breaks down even shorter. We have replaced the bottom weld with stainless hardware — (similar to the extensions) allowing the stilt to break down to smaller than a 24″ package. Extension kit replaces entire stilt peg with different length peg, giving you 2 stilt heights with one frame.

Several different heights of stilts with one kit! Breaks down for travel- size is determined by your configuration — made with slightly thicker stock to withstand the extra torque of the extended lengths.
Featherweight models can be extended to 6 ft. max same price as below. Stilts over 8 ft will need some design time to determine what configuration best serves your needs.
